Asus 70IC laptop - problema la placa de baza (cred)

Asta am trimis la ASUS si mi-au raspuns diplomat ca habar nu au:I have an Asus 70IC laptop (17", core 2 duo, nvidia GT 220m GB, 4 GB ram) and I have a big problem.It worked OK for about two weeks (second hand equipment) and then it suddenly stopped working.The symptoms are the following: once i press the On/Off button, it shows the POST messages enters BIOS (if F2 pressed) enters boot selection (if Esc is pressed) enters ASUS Flash Updater if F3/F4 is pressed (can't remember which - and updates/downgrades flash) sees any USB & DVD/CD inserted once entered the boot selection/Asus flash updater once it enters Windows loading, it shows "Starting Windows" (7) and hangs. No Windows logo appearing, nothing. Just "Starting Windows" and hangs.I made a portable USB with Ubuntu 10.04, then 12.10 and tried to load Live Ubuntu and it will hang after loading and identifying processor cores.I tried installing Windows 7 from the original DVD I bought and it hangs at the same step as "Starting Windows. No Windows logo appearing, nothing. I have identified the timing to be several seconds after the "Starting Windows" message by pressing repeatedly the Caps Lock and the LED goes off(or on) and then hangs. I have removed the BIOS battery, nothing changed. It saves BIOS configurations when I enter BIOS and make changes. I tried starting it with only a RAM module (tried with both of them separately) (hoped that helped but it didn't), then switched the modules and still no resolve.I just think it's a hardware problem that's deeper than the usual remove/replace on-board chip and there you go.Any ideas?Thanks.

Salut pai tu ce problema ai cu el nu se aprinde laptopul sau ce are?

Ma jur pe 5 mici bine facuti ca ne e lene sa ghicim in globul de sticla ce vrei sa spui despre asus ala. Chiar atat tupeu n-am mai vazut. Am vazut "am un laptop apas butonul nu porneste" sau altele. Dar ca sa spuna cineva ca " Ii este lene......." si sa vrea informatii.....Succes sa primesti informatiile.

Cred ca windowsul sau alt sistem de operare acelasi lucru vrea sa faca.Incearca sa ghiceasca daca tu vrei sau nu vrei sa porneasca,si cum nu ghiceste ramane in expectativa.

Ca sa stii care e problema, mergi unde e cu constatarea gratuita,sa poata constata daca situatia e soft sau hard
